The main cast reunite in the full and fun packed show, which took place live during the Great Facebook Outage of 2015 (Yes, Facebook went down for 8 minutes). In this week’s show, the cast have a great debate about voice actors in video games and if they should use the might of the union to get treated reasonably for the work they do, plus plenty of Quiplash. What more could you want?
With half the normal cast away… Wait, didn’t we do this last week? Well, like last week we have a Hedgie joining us, but this time we have Xavier back and we lose both Felis and Angel Darksong. Of course, that means that Hedgie is alone on the webcam. For this, we can only apologise. At least the Quiplash was fun. Don’t forget, if you ever want to take part in the Quiplash, tune in while we’re live and follow the instructions on screen at the start of the round.
With half the normal cast away, TK and Angel Darksong face the prospect of a very quiet show where we talked about how the studio flooded the night before the show was due to air. Until, that is, Hedgie arrives on the scene to save the day. For the first time in Season 9, Hedge comes out of retirement to help bring his brand of unique to the proceedings – and this time he has brought a book to read. Instead of the news, we bring in a new segment (for one week only) of Bad Real Fic Theatre. This week, the cast reads “Five Night at Freddy’s” by Gavin Azurin. This is on top of our normal Quiplash session in Done and Dusted’s slot. So, even with two cast members gone, we still fully packed the show. Result.
Slowly but surely we learn the ways of how to work the studio with all its new gear. Quiplash went according to plan, and for the first time we managed to fill all 8 slots. We also covered news, review of the week, and even squeezed three whole songs into the show as well. And it all ran rather smoothly, aside from the first few minutes (our traditional timeslot for breaking things) owing to Angel Darksong and Felis arriving late to the studio. Blame them. It’s totally their fault.
