With the Tiger balloon from the 1000 Episodes celebration hanging in there, TK is once again joined by the usual dynamic duo of Hedgie and Xavier occupying the sofa. This week TK is trying to finish NaNoWriMo with time running out. Hedgie has been getting lots of work, while Xavier has been “enjoying” work, as per usual. This week was a bit of an experimental week, however, as the Jackbox Party Pack 8 has been purchased and downloaded to the PS5. Therefore the show over-ran as the games Job Job and The Wheel of Enormous Proportions were played. Expect one of those games to come again, as both were rather fun.

The show after the show before. TK is joined by Xavier and Hedgie once more, with a bit more of a normal show than usual. There are remnants of the party left over as one of the helium balloons still stands. TK is excited as he now has a PS5, to much eye rolling from everyone else. There was also a bit of advice from Hedgie when it comes to buying a laptop in November. Hedgie is excited by the prospect of the German Market returning, and Xavier once again has a bit of rant about work. Two games of Jackbox were enjoyed with some Fibbage 3 and Bracketeering after an aborted start of Guesspionage, as we had more than 8 people looking to play and Bracketeering supports up to 16 players.

It’s here! The big one! The special! Yes, today TigerTails Radio hits 1000 episodes. So it’s party time in the studio. With decorations throughout the studio (including helium balloons), a ton of party nibbles, enough cake to satisfy the French Revolution, and party bags filled with goodies, the show was stuffed full with special guests, games, music, and fun. Previous cast members and guests came down to visit and share some memories, as well as to bask in the party atmosphere. A rather epic game of Quiplash happened, and the second game was not a Jackbox one but a return of a classic Season 2 game… Russian Roulette, in which TK got made rather messy. An extra long show, which went without technical difficulties for a change.

It’s the Emergency Services Special – aka Show 999! Well, it was for the intro skit anyway. With Fireman TK, and Plain Clothed Officers Xavier and Hedgie opening the episode. Some good conversations happening this week with Xavier not spending the whole segment complaining about work for once. There was an update on TK’s progress through NaNoWriMo as well. Two Jackbox games were enjoyed this week, with Xavier taking the chance to elect the first game, which was Blather Round, followed by Quiplash 3. Then Hedgie got some Done and Dusted in for good measure. Next week is the celebration episode that is Episode 1000 – or Show 1000, pick your favourite term.

Show number 998 – The countdown gets ever closer to the great 1000, and the cast are feeling the excitement growing. On tonight’s show, Hedgie tells of his exciting fortnight, Xavier had a holiday and gives everyone a verbal slide show, and TK resurrects a segment from Seasons Past… A couple of rounds of Quiplash were played for the Jackbox gaming of the night, and things ended on time for a change. Quite rare for a show to start and end on time. What madness is this?
